Kang Young-joong, chairman of the World Youth Culture Foundation, delivered scholarships for athletes Yeo Seo-jeong and Lee Ho-joon
Since 2016, Kang Young-joong (center), chairman of the World Youth Culture Foundation, has provided various support to Yeo Seo-jung (right) and Lee Ho-joon (left), including financial support and items necessary for training.
At the scholarship delivery ceremony held at the Midas Hotel & Resort on the 8th, Kang Young-joong, chairman of the World Youth Culture Foundation, invited Yeo Seo-jung and Lee Ho-joon, who performed well at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games in Indonesia, to encourage them.
Yeo Seo-jung won the women's gymnastics Asian Games gold medal in the women's individual vault event for the first time in 32 years, and Lee Ho-joon performed well, setting Korean records in the 400-meter and 800-meter swimming relay finals.
The World Youth Culture Foundation said, "This scholarship delivery ceremony is designed to encourage athletes who have grown into world-class talents by performing remarkably in basic sports events on behalf of South Korea at the Asian Games."
