Chairman Kang, Young Joong visited Daekyo Hong Kong
The first book signing ceremony of “Life is learning” (Kyo Hak Sang Jang) held in Hong Kong on 31st May 2011, successfully marked the closing to Chairman Kang Young-Joong’s re-visit of Hong Kong since 1997.
Not only was it the first time for E.nopi HK’s franchisees to meet with the Founder and Chairman of Daekyo- Dr. Kang Young-Joong, but also a one of its kind event for Daekyo Hong Kong.
The opening of the ceremony began with a montage of photos featuring the growth and development of Daekyo HK in the past 14 years. And also, a warm welcome speech addressed by the President Director, Ms Elizabeth Seo of Daekyo Hong Kong.
The most glorious highlight of the day was the sharing of “Life is Learning” by Chairman Kang. “E.nopi in Hong Kong shares similarity to the history in Korea,” says Dr. Kang. “In 1980 in Korea, we lost all of our members and due to the government’s ban on extra-curricular private tutoring.” “Daekyo HK has faced a casualty of zero members due to the outbreak of SARS in 2003.” Dr. Kang added. “Having turned the crisis into an opportunity through changing our business model to franchise contract system, Daekyo HK has reached a remarkable milestone of 10,000 members in the latter half of 2010.”
“I truly hope that the Korean and HK education system will bring positive influence to the world.” Dr. Kang further explained.
“My dream is that Daekyo will become the World’s top education system and I wish to share this spirit and dream will you.” “We shall not stop teaching and learning at the same time and you will be the key to success in Hong Kong.” Dr. Kang concluded.
