Daekyo Newife and Lina Life Sign MOU for Senior Brain Care Services
Daekyo Newife announced on the 2nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Lina Life Insurance (hereinafter referred to as Lina Life) to promote brain health and help prevent dementia among seniors through a new Senior Brain Care initiative.
The agreement aims to introduce an integrated brain care service that combines Daekyo Newife’s expertise in senior cognitive care with Lina Life’s insurance services, covering both dementia prevention and insurance protection. The two companies plan to jointly develop a prevention-focused senior healthcare model to address the challenges of a super-aged society and expand services tailored to the needs of older adults.
The companies will jointly develop a new service, tentatively named “Total Brain Care Service,” which combines Daekyo Newife’s one-on-one, in-home cognitive care service for seniors with Lina Life’s Brain Care Health Insurance. The service is targeted for launch in the second half of this year.
Through this initiative, senior customers will receive cognitive training and personalized brain health management from professional visiting instructors, along with insurance coverage for brain-related diseases. This integrated model, linking prevention with insurance protection, is expected to enable more systematic and comprehensive brain health management for seniors.
To prepare for the service launch, Daekyo Newife is pursuing registration as a general insurance agency. The company plans to provide integrated cognitive care and insurance services through its nationwide network of specialized senior care visiting instructors.
A Daekyo Newife representative said, “Through this agreement, we are introducing a new brain care model that combines cognitive care with insurance. We will continue to expand differentiated services to lead the senior life care market.”
