Daekyo UZULearn Launches “TOPIK Instructor Training Course” to Strengthen Expertise in Korean Language Education
Daekyo UZULearn, Daekyo’s language learning platform, has launched a TOPIK Instructor Training Course designed to provide systematic online training in teaching methodologies for the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).
According to the Ministry of Education, approximately 560,000 people applied for TOPIK in 2025, reflecting steadily growing demand for Korean language education and TOPIK preparation. In response to this trend, Daekyo UZULearn developed the course to help instructors systematically understand the characteristics of each TOPIK section and learn teaching methods that can be applied in real-world educational settings.
The TOPIK Instructor Training Course is a nine-week program centered on online theoretical learning, complemented by assessments and practical training. Participants will learn about the characteristics of each test section?listening, reading, writing, and speaking?as well as question formats and teaching methodologies tailored to specific learning objectives. The course also incorporates theoretical and practical assessments to help participants progressively evaluate their understanding.
As an online program, the course allows participants to study according to their own schedules without restrictions on time or location. By integrating theoretical instruction, assessments, and practical training, it aims to strengthen both participants’ understanding of TOPIK teaching methodologies and their ability to apply them in educational settings.
Applications are open through September 3 on the official Daekyo UZULearn website. To celebrate the launch, first-cohort participants will receive a discounted tuition rate. Tuition can also be paid using the Lifelong Education Voucher. Further details, including the training schedule and completion requirements, are available on the official website.
A Daekyo representative said, “As global interest in Korean language education continues to grow, the importance of specialized educational content for instructors, as well as learners, is increasing. Building on Daekyo UZULearn’s expertise in language education, we will continue to introduce a variety of specialized training programs in Korean language education and expand the range of learners and educational fields we serve.”
