Dr. Kang attended the awarding ceremony of Children's Literature Award

Dr. Kang Young Joong, Chairman of Daekyo Cultural Foundation,
gave a congratulatory address and encouraged the award winners
at the awarding ceremony of Noonnoppi Children’s Literature Award hosted by Deakyo Cultural Foundation on January 31st, 2008.

In his inspiring speech, he emphasized the importance of cultural content industry that is regarded as one of the most competitive growth engines for the country’s economy.
He also pointed out that one outstanding original story can produce unlimited added value in various genres such as not only book publishing but also movies, computer games and toys at the age of that one source-multi use strategy, which is quite spotlighted nowadays. He closed his speech by wishing for coming of the fascinating story like JK Rowlings’ Harry Potter among the awarded writers.
