Kang Young-joong, chairman of Daekyo Group, supports creative activities of new formative artists
For the 21st year this year, Daekyo Group Chairman Kang Young-joong encouraged students in the field of stereoscopic art to engage in creative activities and communicated with emerging artists through cultural and artistic support.
Until the 8th, he visited the "Bridge International Sculpture Symposium" held at the "Crown Haitai Art Valley Sculpture Studio" in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, and had time to communicate with 10 selected Korean artists this year.
The exhibition featured works by talented artists using various materials such as steel, wood, fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) and more for 17 nights and 18 days from Aug. 4-21, simplifying it into an open studio for all citizens to enjoy culture and art for free.
"Since 2000, Chairman Kang Young-joong has discovered emerging artists in the field of three-dimensional art to provide creative opportunities and exchanges," said an official at the World Youth Culture Foundation. "In particular, this year's Daekyo International Plastic Symposium helped develop the dreams of emerging sculptors by safely preparing exhibitions of works, securing space for works, wearing masks, and distancing workers."
