the ground-breaking ceremony of Deep Sea Water production plant

Dr. Kang Young Joong attended the ground-breaking ceremony of
Deep Sea Water production plant site of Gangwon Deep Sea Water Co., Ltd., a newly established subsidiary of Daekyo Group back on March 11th , 2008.

“our nation is categorized as a water-shortage country by the United Nations, which may be more meaningful for us to be a deep sea water-producing country than to be an oil-producing country – especially when now is the age of that environmentally friendly energy and recycled energy are prevailing as an alternative energy for oil. As Deep Sea Water will be utilized by the various end-user product businesses such as cosmetics and health foods, its economical impact will be powerful than we expect. This kind of higher, value-added, business could contribute for developing regional economy growth and for creating employment opportunities,” said Dr. Kang in his complimentary speech.
