Daekyo Group Successfully Holds the ‘2025 Beautiful Journey’ Event with Teachers on Teacher’s Day
On the 16th, Daekyo Group announced that it hosted the ‘2025 Beautiful Journey’ event in celebration of Teacher’s Day. The event was held to express gratitude to outstanding teachers from across the country who have contributed to Daekyo Group, including Daekyo, Daekyo EduCamp, and Daekyo Newif.
Launched in 2014, the ‘Beautiful Journey’ event was initiated by Daekyo Group’s founder and honorary chairman, Kang Young-Joong. The purpose of the event is to invite teachers who have embodied the group’s educational philosophy, to express appreciation and respect, share their passion for education, and grow together.
This year’s event was held on May 15 at Sono Calm Goyang in Gyeonggi Province. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s founding, the event brought together subject teachers from Daekyo’s various programs such as Noonnoppi, Soluny, and Chaihong, along with non-curricular teachers from Daekyo EduCamp and senior instructors from Daekyo Newif, making it a unified group-wide event.
The program began with honorary chairman Kang Young-Joong offering words of respect to the teachers who have practiced the “Noonnoppi Love” philosophy. It concluded with heartwarming and inspiring programs, including a poetry writing contest where teachers expressed their educational philosophy through poetry, and a special performance.
A highlight of this year’s event was the presentation of the inaugural Bongam Education Award, established to carry on the founder’s educational ideals. The first recipient of the award was Noonnoppi teacher Hyun-Jung Sung, recognized for promoting continuous learner growth, supporting the development of fellow teachers, and making a positive impact on the local community.
Daekyo Group stated that it will continue the ‘Beautiful Journey’ with teachers who are on the front lines of education and will keep fostering a culture that upholds the true essence of education.
A Daekyo Group representative said, “This event was an opportunity to convey our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers who have supported Daekyo Group’s journey,” and added, “We will continue to grow together with our teachers and carry on the founder’s vision and practices.”
