Daekyo EduCamp’s specialized brand for slow learners, ‘My Pace,’ announced that it has expanded its customized learning and emotional support programs for children with borderline intellectual functioning to the Busan region, in collaboration with the international children’s rights NGO, Save the Children.

This expansion marks My Pace’s first advancement into southern Korea, based on operational experience accumulated in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions, with the goal of providing learning services to children in Busan.

Through June 2026, Daekyo EduCamp will provide a total of 590 learning and social development sessions for 19 children with borderline intellectual functioning under the care of Save the Children’s partner organizations. The programs include ‘My Pace Growing Cognition’ and other tailored educational and social skills development programs.

In addition, professional counselors will operate customized programs for each institution, offering integrated support from learning diagnosis and personalized instruction to psychological counseling. Daekyo EduCamp also plans to collaborate with Save the Children to run learning programs tailored to the needs of institutions in the Busan area.

A Daekyo EduCamp representative stated, “The expansion into Busan was driven by a close understanding of each institution’s educational needs and the children’s learning processes. Moving forward, we plan to continue expanding our region-specific educational models nationwide to deliver differentiated learning services for children with borderline intellectual functioning.”

Meanwhile, Daekyo EduCamp’s in-house child psychology counseling center, Dream Mentor, has renewed its customized workbook series for slow learners, ‘Growing Cognition,’ as part of the ‘Cognitive Workbook’ series. The updated materials provide both academic and psychological support to help slow learners bridge learning gaps that may arise during transitional stages with their peers.
